Gauge Calibration Technician
-3rd Shift at Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc.

Base pay range: $22.29/hr - $27.00/hr

Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is searching for a motivated Gauge Calibration Technician to join our team. A successful Gauge Technician will be mechanically inclined, have a continuous improvement mindset, and ideally have experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

• Perform inhouse calibrations of all applicable gauges
• Turn around broken gauges from production as quickly as possible
• Maintain excellent record keeping of all calibration measurements
• Execute Gauge R&R studies, when required
• Train production staff on proper use and care of shop floor gauges
• Continually identify areas of improvement and develop plans to implement

• Minimum 3 years experience in a gauging or inspection position.
• Can demonstrate understanding of blueprints, including GD&T.
• Can demonstrate proper usage of hand instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauge blocks.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, & Outlook.
• Strong written & verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail. Bachelor of Science in applicable engineering or science field preferred, however candidates with relevant equivalent experience will be considered.

• Technical degree or mechanical background
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems in automotive manufacturing
• Mechanical drafting, AutoCAD, and/or Inventor a plus
• Interpersonal/ Organizational Skills
• Build effective relationships with team members and production staff
• Prioritize and manage a complex workload that is subject to last-minute changes
• Readily understand and communicate gauge problems and gauge requirements
