Service Receptionist / Cashier (Part Time)

Empire Nissan is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented Service Receptionist / Cashier to be the welcoming face of our Sales department. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and take pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences, we’d love to meet you.

- Ensure all customer payments are collected, authorized, and accurately processed—completing daily financial reports with attention to detail
- Greet every customer with a warm, professional welcome—whether in person or over the phone
- Confirm and manage daily service appointments, rescheduling when needed and handling phone interactions with care
- Respond to customer questions and concerns using phone, text, email, and our CRM—offering timely, thoughtful solutions
- Organize and track customer feedback, escalating to management when additional support is needed
- Maintain clear, accurate records of customer concerns and follow through until resolution
- Build trust and rapport with customers and team members through respectful, reliable communication
- Proactively engage with customers—often identifying needs and offering help before being asked
- Collaborate with dealership staff to ensure a smooth, supportive customer experience
- Learn and uphold the automotive manufacturer’s standards for customer satisfaction
- Communicate clearly and kindly, and stay organized
- Present yourself in a polished, professional way that reflects Empire’s commitment to excellence
- Understand the value of listening and empathy, and make people feel comfortable and supported
- Be dependable, hardworking, and able to stay focused in a busy, fast‑moving environment
- Have experience helping customers—sharing knowledge, building trust, and making their experience a positive one
- Bring at least one year of experience in a role where you interacted with customers, either in person or over the phone
- Be naturally friendly, upbeat, and enjoy being part of a team that works together
- Be open to feedback and see it as a helpful part of growing and improving
- Be available to work Monday through Saturday, and be flexible when extra support is needed on holidays or weekends
- Be comfortable using computers and multitasking, especially with tools like Microsoft Office
- Take pride in keeping your workspace neat, organized, and welcoming
