Salary Range: $18.00 To $20.00 Hourly
Under the general supervision of the Wash Crew Lead, the Motorcoach detailer will participate in the inspection, vehicle cleaning and detailing of both the interior and exterior of the motor coaches and mini coaches. May assist in minor body repairs.
- Maintains the cleanliness of all company motor coaches and minibuses.
- Thoroughly clean exterior and interior of buses.
- Performs detail inspections, mopping floors, vacuuming seats, washing windows, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning tracks, polishing rims and water spot removal.
- Plan and perform the work required to repair minor body damage as well as maintain the total appearance of motor coaches, minibuses and trucks as directed by supervisor.
- Polish by hand via polishing equipment, new and old finishes to a renewed state.
- Meet deadlines and productivity/efficiency levels consistent with Company and industry standards.
- Provide training to wash crew member on the cleanliness of motor coaches and minibuses.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Prior experience in vehicle detailing or other similar duties. Experience in vehicle water spot removal and paint protection using the proper chemicals and polishes, preferred

Skills:
- Able to use good judgment and sound decision-making while handling multiple situations.
- Must be dependable and punctual to work as scheduled.
- Possesses interpersonal communication skills which include speaking clearly and communicating effectively.
- Requires the ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
- Requires the ability to carry or lift objects that could weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Working skills in using hand tools and equipment and a working knowledge of metals and body repair supplies.
- Must be familiar with current safety equipment and procedures.
- Able to work independently, show initiative and complete tasks with limited supervision.
- Able to follow specific instructions and safety procedures.
- Possesses working knowledge in operating hand tools and portable power tools.
- Be willing to work various shifts to include weekends, holidays and overtime as directed
