Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)  CCO will lead the commercial strategy for the cryptocurrency derivatives business, including revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition and retention. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing commercial plans, leading the sales function, overseeing key client relationships, and ensuring alignment between product, marketing, and sales teams. The CCO will analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and refine go-to-market strategies.

This role will collaborate closely with executive leadership on pricing, product positioning, commercial partnerships, and long-term business planning.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Business Planning and Strategic Planning to define and execute commercial and go-to-market strategies.
  • Proven experience in Sales and Account Management, including leading high-performing teams and managing key client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability in Budgeting and commercial forecasting to manage revenue targets, costs, and profitability.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, preferably with experience in cryptocurrency, derivatives, or related asset classes.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to commercial strategy.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board levels.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or technology-driven environment; startup or scale-up experience is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
