Position Title: Project Engineer

The Project Engineer plays a vital role in supporting the project team with both administrative and technical tasks to ensure the successful execution of contracts. This position involves accurately interpreting project plans and specifications while coordinating and tracking various project processes and documentation. The Project Engineer will assist in managing the construction process efficiently, professionally, and safely, adhering to budget and schedule constraints.

Collaboration with estimators, architects, owners, subcontractors, and the public is essential. The role demands adaptability to high-end projects and the ability to meet client expectations effectively.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 / Year DOE

• Support the project team in administrative and technical tasks
• Interpret and analyze project plans and specifications
• Coordinate and monitor project processes and documentation
• Assist in the construction process to ensure efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including estimators and subcontractors
• Manage project schedules and timelines

• 2-5 years of experience in commercial or residential projects
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
• Experience from a general contractor
• Proficiency in Procore software
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project for scheduling
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of construction practices and methods
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Experience in commercial tenant improvements preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and a family-oriented mindset preferred
