Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. The role involves accurately fulfilling customer orders and managing incoming calls, under close supervision.

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and handle order entry via various communication channels.
• Place customer orders through phone, fax, email, electronic methods, or in person.
• Negotiate sale and purchase prices within set parameters to influence gross profit.
• Adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to encourage repeat business and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels by ordering products and managing stock from various sources.
• Handle shipping logistics, including choosing cost-effective methods and expediting backorders.
• Assist with customer returns and other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED; 0-3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Reliable, organized, attentive to detail, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Moderate computer skills, including email, business systems, and internet research.
• Product knowledge is preferred.
