Located on the northeastern side of the island of Hawaii, Hilo is right next to the ocean, rain forests, waterfalls, and majestic mountains, plus it offers all the amenities of a vibrant town. It is known for Wailuku River State Park, featuring Waianuenue, or Rainbow Falls, with its colorful mist effects. The bubbling basalt-lava rock pools known as the Boiling Pots are nearby.
To the south is Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, home to rainforests and the active Kilauea and Mauna Loa volcanoes.
- Monday - Friday schedule, 8 am - 5 pm; no call or weekends
- 90% solid tumor and 10% hematology focus
- Team of 3 oncologists and 4 NPs providing strong support
- See 12 - 15 patients per day with a manageable workload
- 38 days off plus 5 CME days annually
- Health system-employed position with competitive compensation
