A school counselor provides social, educational, career and personal assistance to non-SSC students. He/shefrequently offers advice and career counseling to students about emotional problems, academic challenges,subject options, technical or trade schools, colleges and universities, giving them information on such things asapplications, admissions, college entrance exams and financial aid along with teaching job-finding skills. Aschool counselor is also often involved in peer mediation and conflicts between students.
If a student hasadjustment issues, the counselor works with school administrators, teachers, social workers, parents and the student to solve the problems.
Qualification:
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Candidates must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Guidance & Counseling, Psychology or Master’s Degree in Clinical or Educational Psychology
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Knowledgeable regarding child development as well as the subject they teach
- Have strong communication and presentation skills, adaptive, and a self-regulated learner
- Willing to join us on academic year 25/26
