Conditions:
Lecturer applicant pool for Academic Year 2025 - 2026. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance and availability of funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Teach assigned courses, including ENG 100, ENG 100T, and ENG 200-level courses.
* Hold a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
* Develop and prepare course schedules, syllabi, and reports related to teaching and student progress.
* Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* Master's degree in English or closely related field from a top-tier accredited college or university.
* At least 3 years of demonstrated success teaching English Composition , professional writing, media, creative writing, or literature at an accredited university.
Desirable
Qualifications:
* Experience teaching in multiple modalities (e.g., online, in-person, hybrid).
* Experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to developing skills in inclusive pedagogy.
* Evidence of excellence in college-level teaching.
