Conditions:

Lecturer applicant pool for Academic Year 2026 - 2027. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance and availability of funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Teach courses in Gender and Women's Studies and other related courses, such as WS 151 Introduction to Gender and Women's Studies or WS301 Women in Science.

Minimum Qualifications

* MA in Philosophy or Gender and Women's Studies; or other related fields, such as Indigenous Political Science, Communication, American Studies, Sociology, and Political Science.

* Experience teaching in interdisciplinary fields

* Experience teaching in multiple philosophical and cultural traditions from around the world

Desirable Qualifications

* PhD in Philosophy or Gender and Women's Studies; or other related fields, such as Indigenous Political Science, Communication, American Studies, Sociology, and Political Science.

* Experience teaching both online and in person (i.e., multiple modalities)

* Demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness
