Job Type: Part‑time, non‑tenure track, temporary (continuous recruitment)

Salary:
Minimum $1,978.00 per credit

• Part‑time, temporary placement in Spring, Summer, and/or Fall lecturer pool.
• Assignments as needed, contingent on funds and staffing requirements.
• Must attend meetings and trainings on short notice and teach courses in person when necessary.

• Conduct lecture and laboratory courses under general supervision.
• Optional instruction involving distance education.
• Maintain at least one office hour per week for each class taught.
• Possible evening, weekend, and off‑campus assignments.
• Conduct student evaluations of teaching effectiveness.
• Participate in assessment of course learning outcomes.
• Adhere to all deadlines, including online submission of grades.

• Bachelor’s in Fire Science or related Natural Sciences (Biological, General, or Physical Sciences) plus at least 3 years of related experience, OR
• Associate Degree in Fire Science or related Natural Sciences (Human Development, Family Resources, Human Ecology, Social Work with specialty in ECE) plus at least 5 years of related experience, OR
• 15 college credits plus at least 7 years of related experience.

• Willingness to work with Running Start and Early College programs and pass required screening.
• Demonstrated commitment and/or experience supporting student success.
