Temporary. Position is part‑time, temporary, non‑tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance and availability of funding.
- Teach assigned courses in the discipline (specific courses listed below).
- Prepare course schedule, syllabus, and reports related to teaching and student progress.
- Work under the supervision of the discipline chairperson.
- Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
- Commit to principles of higher education and philosophy.
- Possible evening, weekend, off‑campus, and/or distance‑learning assignments.
- Other related tasks and/or duties as assigned.

- Master’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Physiology, Plant Pathology, or Agriculture.
- Experience teaching college students in the subject matter.
- PhD in the appropriate field.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population.
Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed.
