Assistant Coach – Girls Varsity Volleyball Team

Punahou School is recruiting an Assistant Coach to support the head coach in organizing and delivering the Volleyball program. The assistant will conduct practices, motivate student athletes, and instruct them in game strategies and techniques.

• Work Hours:
  
  Monday – Friday late afternoons, and weekends
• Stipend Range: $1,560 – $3,450 – Compensation commensurate with qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED);
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• At least one year of positive, effective coaching experience with a track record of leadership in a successful interscholastic program.
• Background in teaching preferred, with experience working with adolescents.
• Knowledge of the value of athletics and competition at the intermediate and high school level.
• Substantial knowledge of Volleyball, demonstrated through comprehensive practice plans, offensive and defensive schemes, off‑season expectations, and contemporary coaching practices.
