Lecturer (Administration of Justice)
Part‑time, temporary, non‑tenure position for the Academic Year 2026‑2027 at the College of Arts and Sciences – Social Sciences Division, University of Hawai'i ition contingent on course offerings, student enrollment, funding, and availability.
Duties and Responsibilities- Teach assigned courses in Administration of Justice.
- Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
- Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
- Juris Doctor degree or master’s degree in an area related to the courses taught.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
- Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related field, or advanced candidacy (ABD) status as a PhD student in a related field.
- Experience teaching Administration of Justice courses at the college level.
- Demonstrated ability to teach distance education courses.
