Employment Type

Part‑time, temporary, non‑tenure track

Salary

Minimum $1,978.00 per credit

Other Conditions

Part‑time, non‑tenure track, for placement in the Spring, Summer, and/or Fall lecturer pool. Assignments are as needed and are contingent on funding and staffing requirements for the campuses listed. Must attend meetings and trainings on short notice and teach courses in person when required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct lecture and, as appropriate, laboratory courses in the discipline under general supervision.
  • May include instructional assignments involving distance education.
  • Maintain at least one office hour per week for each class taught.
  • Possible evening, weekend, and off‑campus assignments.
  • Conduct student evaluations of teaching effectiveness.
  • Participate in assessment of course learning outcomes.
  • Adhere to all due dates, including the online submission of grades.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s in Art or Fine Art; or
  • Master’s recognized by the Applied Art Community and 10 years of related work experience.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Willingness to work with Running Start and Early College programs and be available for required additional screening.
  • Demonstrated commitment and/or experience supporting the success of students.
