Engineer II - $6,043 to $6,921 per month (EN-20, Step D to I)
Engineer III - $6,528 to $7,475 per month (EN-22, Step D to I)

Duties SummaryThe Engineer I performs routine professional engineering work requiring the application of basic principles and techniques, according to specific instructions and following established practices; also performs other related duties as assigned.
The Engineer II performs specific and limited assignments requiring standard professional methods and techniques, possibly involving minor phases of a broad project; also performs other related duties as assigned.
The Engineer III performs moderately difficult professional engineering work in planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation, and/or evaluation of projects or facilities, or assists higher-level engineers on complex projects; performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification RequirementsApplicants will be placed on the eligible list for all levels for which they are qualified.
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Legal Authorization to Work:
Citizens, nationals, permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment. - Basic
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. - Engineering
Experience:
None required for Level I;
One year required for Level II;
Two years required for Level III. - Driver's License:
Some positions may require a valid driver's license. - Special Requirements:
Some positions may require the ability to lift and carry various loads with or without reasonable accommodation. - SIDA Clearance:
Must not have been convicted of a disqualifying offense within ten years; applicant responsible for records check cost. - TWIC Clearance:
Must not have been convicted of a disqualifying offense within seven years; applicant responsible for records check cost; upon hire reimbursed if receipt provided.
