The Department of Design & Construction, Civil Division, is hiring for a Structural Engineer IV in Honolulu.
What You Will Do- Coordinate and oversee the development of the project plans, reports, permits, specifications, and cost estimates for projects such as bridges, utility adjustments, stream transitions, retaining walls, drainage structures, earth stabilization mitigation improvements, rockslide mitigation, and other concrete, steel, and timber structures.
- Participate in the consultant selection process and contract negotiations.
- Maintain project administration by monitoring the project schedule, reviewing consultant invoices, and preparing contract amendments as necessary.
- Regular hours anticipated but may require evening, weekend, or holiday work to accommodate emergency situations.
Actual salary commensurate with applicable experience, pending approval

Education RequirementEquivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four year college or university with a bachelor's degree in an engineering specialty.
