Engineer I – $5,596 per month (EN-18, Step

Engineer II – $6,043 to $6,921 per month (EN-20, Step D to I)
Engineer III – $6,528 to $7,475 per month (EN-22, Step D to I)
Duties SummaryEngineer I performs routine professional engineering work requiring the application of basic engineering principles and techniques, according to specific instructions and following well‑established practices; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Engineer II performs specific and limited professional engineering assignments requiring application of standard professional methods and techniques, which may involve minor phases of a broad project; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Engineer III performs moderately difficult professional engineering work in the planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation and/or evaluation of engineering projects or facilities or assists higher‑level engineers on more complex projects; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification RequirementsLegal Authorization to Work: Citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
Basic
Education:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university in engineering.
Engineering
Experience:
None required for Level I; one (1) year for Level II; two (2) years for Level III of progressively responsible professional engineering experience.
Driver’s License: Some positions may require a valid driver’s license.
Special Requirements: May require ability to lift and carry loads of various weights with or without reasonable accommodation.
Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Clearance: Federal criminal history record check required for positions requiring unescorted access to secured airport areas. Applicant responsible for cost.
Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Clearance: Federal criminal history record check required for positions requiring unescorted access to secured harbor areas. Applicant responsible for cost.
