Civil Engineering Positions

Performs difficult professional engineering work in the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of civil engineering projects; prepares designs, plans, specifications, estimates, and reports; and performs other duties as required. There are three (3) immediate vacancies:

• One (1) permanent full-time vacancy with the Department of Environmental Management
  - Wastewater Division in Hilo. May be eligible to receive a Recruitment Incentive up to $31,782. Conditions apply.
• One (1) permanent full-time vacancy with the Department of Environmental Management
  - Wastewater Division in Kailua-Kona. May be eligible to receive a Recruitment Incentive up to $31,782. Conditions apply.
• One (1) permanent full-time vacancy with the Department of Public Works
  - Engineering Division in Hilo.

The eligible list may be used for other permanent and temporary vacancies as they arise during the life of the list. Temporary appointment may lead to conversion to permanent appointment.

• Flexible Working Arrangements:
