Overview
The State of Hawaii is recruiting for Engineer I, II, and III positions on the Island of Hawaii through its Wikiwiki Hire pilot program. Engineers at these levels perform routine to moderately complex professional engineering work in planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of engineering projects. Positions are available at various departments with continuous recruitment.
Key Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of engineering
- No experience required for Engineer I; one year progressively responsible professional engineering experience for Engineer II; two years for Engineer III
- U.S. citizenship, national status, or permanent resident alien status with unrestricted employment authorization
- Valid driver's license may be required for some positions
- Security clearance requirements (SIDA or TWIC) may apply depending on position location
