Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Shift: Flexible 7am-5pm; must work at least one weekend day
Job OverviewThe Lot Attendant performs a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operation of the parking facility while delivering service that exceeds customer expectations. Responsibilities include greeting guests, issuing tickets, collecting payments, completing car counts, maintaining facility cleanliness, and collaborating with Operations Manager or Shift Supervisor to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Act as traffic controller to direct guests to available parking spaces
- Perform vehicle counts throughout shift to avoid overfill
- Conduct daily patrols and issue warnings to visitors violating parking rules
- Control traffic at entrances and exits; provide assistance to guests who have lost their parking location
- Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks as directed
- Use respectful communication to assist guests with questions or concerns; relay information to Operations Manager or Shift Lead as necessary
- Immediately report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
- Communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates at all times
- At least 18 years of age
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to verbally communicate with guests professionally at all times
