Amentum has an opportunity for a highly qualified WPS Program Coordinator & Support Planner to provide program coordination, general support, research, and analysis to the US PACOM at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide robust program coordination, general administrative, and logistical support for Women, Peace & Security (WPS) courses, events, and training engagements.
  • Act as a J56 Action Officer, providing necessary administrative, logistical, and technical support to the Branch, including ETMS2 management as required.
  • Participate in US PACOM working groups and coordination efforts, ensuring seamless communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in integrating WPS perspectives and objectives into US PACOM strategy and plans, working alongside stakeholders and foreign partners.
  • Conduct research, both unclassified and classified, on various topics supporting ongoing operational concepts, distilling that research into actionable recommendations.
  • Provide assistance to senior-level strategic planning and briefings, including preparing formal papers and background information for US PACOM senior leader consumption.
  • Provide assistance on short timeline responses to specific questions; help analyze subject plans and concepts for areas of concern; and support planning efforts and new concept development.
  • Review, assess, compile and coordinate documentation for developments and requirements at the Geographical Combatant Command level.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience within the US PACOM areas of responsibility; strong working knowledge of US PACOM processes, battle rhythm, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong background in program coordination, general support, and administration.
  • Highly motivated team player with a willingness to learn and the ability to manage projects independently.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance.

    Note:

    U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience working in or familiarity with Women, Peace, and Security.
  • DoD WPS Focal Point training & certification.
  • Prior experience with joint doctrine, strategic planning, or the joint operational planning process, including multinational planning.
  • Graduate of a military command and staff college (JPME Phase
    1).
  • Knowledge of the planning continuum to include the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP), Joint Operating Concepts (JOC), and Joint Capabilities Areas (JCA).
  • Detailed knowledge of US PACOM policy and strategy and a thorough understanding of USINDOPACOM TCP/TCO, GCPs, CT EXORD, OPLANs, CONPLANs, and Theater Security Cooperation Plans.
  • Thorough understanding of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) to include mission analysis, course of action development, analysis, comparison, recommendation, and approval.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing in order to provide information, articles, written reports, and presentations to include delivering executive summaries to flag and general officers (FO/GO) and Senior Executive Service (SES) level officials.
Compensation & Benefits

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $125K - $145K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
