Duties SummaryThe Occupational Therapy Aid assists an Occupational Therapist by performing routine treatment procedures, organizing activities, maintaining records, observing patient behaviors, and providing personal care as needed. Additional duties may include performing other related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualification RequirementsTo qualify, you must:
- Be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or eligible for unrestricted employment under federal law.
- Have at least one (1) year of experience working with patients in a hospital, facility, or program, demonstrating knowledge of basic English, activities of daily living, recreation, and leisure activities.
- Be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate effectively in English, follow instructions, and work well with others.
