Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii.

• Acute care hospital imaging department setting
• Modalities include CT scanning with sub-specialties in CT and vascular technology
• Perform routine CT scans per radiologist protocols, with a plus for experience in vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke cases
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation experience preferred
• 10-hour varied shifts with no on-call requirements
• Perform routine CT scans per radiologist protocols, including MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging; experience with venipuncture, biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is a plus
• Travelers not currently holding an active Hawaii state license must apply for one upon acceptance of offer
• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of their assignment; plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start date to attend a Friday Employee Health clearance appointment where flu vaccination can also be administered
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded from consideration

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
• Current ARRT(CT) certification required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment — license required if applicable
• Must be able to function independently without supervision
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exemption required prior to start
