American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of two (2) years of acute hospital experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a 13‑week travel assignment in Hawaii.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care hospital imaging department.
- Operate CT scanners, including sub‑specialty CT and vascular technology.
- Perform routine CT scans according to radiologist protocols; experience in vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke cases is a plus.
- Execute MIP, MPR, and 3‑D imaging; venipuncture, biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke experience is a plus.
- Preferably use Meditech EMR system.
- Experience with Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation preferred.
- 10‑hour varied shifts with no on‑call requirements.
- Travelers without an active Hawaii state license must apply for one upon acceptance.
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48‑72 hours before assignment start; plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start date to attend a Friday Employee Health clearance appointment where flu vaccination can also be administered.
- First‑time travelers are not explicitly excluded from consideration.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Current ARRT(CT) certification required.
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required.
- Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment (if applicable).
- Must be able to function independently without supervision.
- Proof of flu vaccination or a facility‑approved medical or religious exemption required prior to start.
