Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a contract assignment in a fast-paced emergency department. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a team-oriented environment with rapid patient turnover, including trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac monitoring cases.

Assignment Details:

• Contract duration: 15 weeks

  Days — 3×12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly)

  Emergency Services (multi-bed ER with trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and cardiac monitoring rooms)
• EMR: EPIC
• Holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and clinical interventions
• Assist with trauma care, cardiac monitoring, and emergency procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records
• Support patient and family education

Requirements:

• Active State RN license required by start of assignment (must apply upon offer if not currently active)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Must be able to complete required onboarding and employee health appointment prior to start

Required Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Preferred Certifications:

• Procedural Sedation
• Trauma certification (e.g., TNCC/TMCC)
• Emergency pediatric certification (e.g., ENPC/EMPC)
