Pay Rate: $20/hr

We are seeking individuals who want to support people with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs). BAYADA Habilitation is currently seeking a Habilitation Technician to work as a Caregiver for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Caregivers provide 1:1 support in the home and in the community with empathy and respect.

• Spend time on the client’s hobbies and activities.

• Participate in community integration activities, errands, and appointments.

• Teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people space to grow.

• Opportunity to enhance caregiving skills with support from clinical managers.

• Provide personal care assistance as needed.

• One year experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or Developmental disabilities

• Ability to transport clients to community activities

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Be at least 18 years of age

• The ability to read and write in English

Type:
Part-Time, Weekdays, Weekends available

Most Habilitation technicians begin with part-time hours based on client needs and staff availability, with opportunities for growth based on performance, client availability, and scheduling needs.

Pay:
Weekly; $20 and up based on experience

We have current Habilitation Technician / Direct Support Professional openings in the following locations:

• Hilo, Keaau, Mt View, Pepoekeo, Ocean View, Hawi, Kailua-Kona, Kealakekua, and surrounding areas.
