Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (LTCA) – Long-term care setting in Hilo, Hawaii, US.
Start date:
09/14/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay: $1,396-$1,490 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Rotating. Setting: LTC – Nursing Home.

Long-term care (LTC) – Nursing Home - Orientation and EMR training provided
- Provide rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing facility and/or intermediate care facility, consistent with licensure, discipline, and scope of practice
- Perform evaluations, reassessments, treatments, and other clinical services; develop, implement, or carry out individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising therapist, physician, and interdisciplinary team
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to maximize function, independence, mobility, swallowing, and overall quality of life
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and patient progress; complete accurate, timely documentation; document progress, changes in plan of care, and discharges according to facility, state, federal, and payer requirements
- Supervise therapy assistants when applicable to the role
- May be floating to other units or facilities based on census and staffing needs; be available to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary
- Training:
Orientation to the rehabilitation department, EMR documentation (Net Health Rehab Optima Epic), and facility workflows provided
- Current Hawaii license in good standing appropriate to the discipline
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in the SNF/ICF setting preferred
- Ability to perform duties within the scope of practice and licensure; to work in a skilled nursing/ICF environment
- Must arrive the Thursday before start date to attend required health appointments and start on time
- Evidence of compliance with state requirements for licensure by start of assignment
- Orientation to the rehabilitation department, EMR documentation (Net Health Rehab Optima Epic), and facility workflows provided
- Ongoing access to clinical supervision and collaboration with the rehabilitation team
- Assignment onboarding support to facilitate a smooth start
