Job Description:

This inpatient physical therapy role is tailored for professionals with acute care experience working primarily in hospital settings. The selected therapist will evaluate and re‑evaluate residents, develop and implement ongoing therapeutic programs, and collaborate with physicians and specialists to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. You’ll find yourself working in a fast‑paced acute inpatient environment, with shifts that may vary throughout the week, including weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate is comfortable handling responsibilities specific to acute rehab, as well as secondary coverage for skilled nursing or inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Your day will involve utilizing EMR systems like Meditech and providing hands‑on physical therapy services that directly impact patient recovery.

Hilo, Hawaii

Shift: Variable shifts, Monday through Sunday, typically 8:30am – 5:00pm
Duration: 26 weeks
Hours per Week: 40 hours
