Physical Therapist - Acute Inpatient Rehab

This position offers a variable schedule with shifts available:

• Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Sunday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

The Physical Therapist will provide primary coverage in acute rehab settings, with secondary coverage in ICF/SNF rehabilitation. Responsibilities include evaluating and re-evaluating assigned patients, planning and implementing ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by attending physicians and/or consulting specialists, and providing consulting physical therapist services. This role requires availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on hospital operations.

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned residents/patients.
• Plan and implement therapeutic physical therapy programs.
• Consult with attending physicians and specialists as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discussions.
• Document patient progress and adjust therapeutic programs accordingly.

Minimum of 6 months of experience working with adults in acute, rehabilitation hospital, or SNF settings. Active Hawaii Physical Therapist license by the start of the assignment is required. BLS certification is mandatory.
