Overview
Radiology Tech – CT Tech, travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date 09/21/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range is $2,936 to $3,004 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 4x10 rotating. Work setting: hospital-based imaging department requiring acute care radiology skills.

- Travel assignment in a hospital-based imaging department
- Perform CT scans in accordance with radiologist protocols, ensuring correct patient positioning and scan parameters; monitor for patient safety and comfort.
- Operate CT equipment (Canon/Toshiba CT units) and use the Vitrea workstation for image reconstruction; document and manage images in the EMR.
- Demonstrate proficiency with venipuncture and perform advanced CT tasks such as MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging; support procedures like biopsies or drainages when indicated.
- Assist with vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging as assigned; maintain awareness of radiology safety and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other team members to ensure high-quality imaging and timely reporting; adhere to department protocols and radiology department policies.
- Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (state license) required by start of assignment
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in an acute hospital setting
- Proficient in scanning per radiologist protocols and performing routine CT scans; capable of working independently without supervision
- Preferred experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend employee health clearance; no RTO in the first 13 weeks of contract
- Assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, including ongoing recruiter assistance
- Coordination of credentialing and onboarding requirements
- Health clearance logistics and pre-employment health requirements management
- Travel assignment logistics and scheduling coordination
- Access to resources and support throughout the 13-week assignment
