Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The role involves managing airway support, ventilator equipment, and collaborating with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor ventilator and non-invasive ventilator therapies.
- Provide continuous airway management and support for diverse patient populations.
- Consult with physicians regarding respiratory status and treatment plans.
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and computerized charting systems.
- Comply with safety standards, including vaccination and licensure requirements.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in medical records.
Qualifications:
- Hold Hawaii State Respiratory Therapy License.
- Possess BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications; RRT and NRP preferred.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of clinical respiratory care experience.
- Be able to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Able to work night shifts, including 12-hour shifts, with no guarantee of hours.
- Able to provide proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption prior to start.
