This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts operate from 0645 to 2315, and may be variable based on department needs. Applicants will be scheduled for 40 hours a week, with a possibility of 32 hours if there is a holiday. Call duty is required, approximately 1-2 times a week, plus up to 2 weekends a month, with a 20-minute callback time.

The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures across various specialties, including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, and Robotic surgery. Additional responsibilities include turnover cleaning and transporting patients as needed. The ideal candidate must have experience scrubbing in a hospital setting for a minimum of 2 years.

• Assist in the surgical room by preparing instruments and supplies.
• Scrub in on a variety of surgical cases as mentioned.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment for surgeries.
• Transport patients when necessary.
• Participate in turnover cleaning between surgical cases.

• Active State of Hawaii surgical technologist license required at the start of the assignment.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience scrubbing cases in a hospital environment.
