Ultrasound Sonographer

This is a 13-week contract position.

Variable shifts, 40-hour workweek with on-call as appropriate.

The Ultrasound Sonographer will perform a variety of imaging procedures, demonstrating proficiency in both normal and pathological conditions across multiple specialties. Responsibilities include conducting ultrasound examinations and procedures on diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform abdominal imaging including Aorta, IVC, Liver/Biliary, Pancreas, Spleen, and Renal studies.
• Conduct gynecological and obstetric ultrasound examinations, including transvaginal and adult/pediatric assessments.
• Execute procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative imaging.
• Assess neonatal patients for congenital anomalies and perform imaging of neonatal heads.
• Utilize equipment including Canon i700 and Meditech EMR, along with Fuji Synapse PACS, for documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 3 years experience as a full-time sonographer in an acute hospital setting.
• Active ARDMS certifications in Abdomen, OB, and RVT.
• Current BLS certification from the AHA.
