- Perform CT imaging studies per radiologist protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety
- Operate CT equipment (Canon/Toshiba CT units) and utilize the Vitrea workstation for post-processing (MIP, MPR, 3D imaging) as required
- Obtain venous access and conduct contrast-related procedures; assist with biopsies or drainages when indicated
- Document procedures in Meditech EMR, communicate findings to the radiologist, and coordinate patient care with the imaging team
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and patient monitoring standards; no on-call requirement and shifts may vary by need
- Arrive the Thursday before the start date to complete employee health clearance; comply with no RTO during the first 13 weeks of contract
- Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (radiographer) with active status by start date; travelers not currently licensed must apply upon acceptance and obtain Hawaii licensure by assignment start
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography;
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current - Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in an acute hospital setting
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR; experience with Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation preferred
- Ability to scan per radiologist protocols, perform routine CT scans, and function independently without supervision; experience with MIP, MPR, 3D imaging; vascular, cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke experience a plus
- Proof of influenza vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start date (flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance)
