HHSC East Hawaii Region seeks a hospital outpatient coder to assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for lab, radiology, ED, clinics and urgent care procedures. This role supports reimbursement by ensuring accurate coding in the charge system.
Requirements include a high school diploma, ICD-10 training within the last 2 years, and HIM experience. Certifications (CCA/CCS-P/CPC-A/COC-A/CIC) may substitute for experience and are highly valued.
