Echo Technologist

This position requires proficiency in performing adult echocardiograms, which include 2D-Mode, Doppler Continuous Wave (CW) and Pulsed Wave (PW), valvular disease studies, color flow mapping, assessments for cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, and effusions. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in both 2D and 3D transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and studies for hypertensive heart disease.

Pediatric experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Equipment Utilized:

• Canon i700
• Canon i900

Required

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
• RDCS certification
• Active AHA BLS certification

Work Schedule:

This position involves 40-hour work shifts, with on-call duties as necessary. There may also be a requirement to float to other departments.

Dress Code:

Personal scrubs and healthcare professional attire are required.
