Radiology Physician Assistant - Modified Barium Swallow Studies

This is a 13-week contract position.

Generally set schedule 5 days/week, with likely inclusion of 1 weekend day.

We are seeking a skilled radiology physician assistant with the ability to independently conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) in an acute care setting. This role requires acute care experience and proficiency in MBS completion without supervision. Candidates must hold a valid Hawaii license by the start of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently.
• Document patient information using Meditech computerized documentation for inpatient services and paper/pencil for outpatient documentation.
• Provide care in rehab settings, including both acute and skilled nursing facilities (SNF).
• Possibly conduct referrals for outpatient care as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or rehab hospital setting.
• Valid Hawaii Rehab License in appropriate discipline.
• Current BLS certification.
