Long Term Care (LTC) Nurse Hawaii

This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a long-term care facility located on-site at a hospital. The role includes performing assessments, treatments, medication administration, notification to physicians or nurse practitioners of pertinent information, admitting and discharging residents, and assisting with activities of daily living. Flexibility regarding shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

  Valid licensure in Hawaii required prior to start date; no minimum years of experience specified; licensure must be obtained if not already in possession.
• Schedule:
  
  12-hour shifts, rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  Performing assessments, treatments, medication administration, notification of pertinent information to MDs or NPs, admitting/discharging, ADL assistance, Gastrostomy Tube care, Urinary Catheter care, Nebulized Treatment, Wound Vac care, CPAP care, Tracheostomy Care, and other assigned duties.
• Submission Requirements:
  Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment.
• Float:
  Float rotation may be required.
