Therapist, Occupational Therapy - Therapist, Hilo, Hawaii
Key Responsibilities
- - Conduct physical and psychological assessments.
- - Assess home and work environments.
- - Advise on adaptive equipment.
- - Develop physical rehabilitation programs.
- - Prepare clients for return to work.
- - Educate caregivers and family members.
- - Evaluate therapy effectiveness.
- - Maintain professional knowledge.
- - Comply with regulations.
Certifications/Requirements
- - Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) credential from NBCOT required.
- - Masters or Doctoral degree in OT from ACOTE-accredited program.
- - State licensure required (OTR/L).
- - CPR/BLS certification.
Experience
- - Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) from ACOTE-accredited program .
- - Level II Fieldwork (6 months minimum ).
- - Pass NBCOT exam.
