A Public Area Attendantkeeps hotels, resorts, or buildings spotless by cleaning and maintaining lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, fitness centers, and event spaces, involving sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, trash removal, and replenishing supplies, while also assisting guests and reporting maintenance issues to ensure a welcoming environment and uphold brand standards.

• Cleaning & Sanitizing:Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish floors, furniture, fixtures, windows, and walls in all public spaces, including restrooms, lounges, and elevators.
• Trash & Supplies:Empty trash receptacles, remove debris, and restock supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in public restrooms and closets.
• Guest Interaction:Greet guests warmly, provide assistance, and address minor requests or problems in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintenance Reporting:Identify and report maintenance deficiencies or hazards (e.g., broken fixtures, spills) to supervisors promptly.
• Equipment Care:Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals, adhering to safety and sanitation procedures.
• Supporting Housekeeping:Assist room attendants by stocking linen closets and helping with other tasks as needed.
• Area Specifics:Clean and maintain fitness centers, pool areas, event spaces, and hotel entrances.

• Physical Stamina:Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and move for extended periods.

Located on the coastline of Hilo Bay, the Grand Naniloa Hilo, a Double Tree by Hilton, is 30 miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. All rooms have free WiFi.
