Assistant Recreation Manager

Location

Maui, Hawaii – open air beachfront resort.

Manage and oversee the Recreation Department, including organization of food & beverage, retail, activities, pool and beach operations.

• Develop employees through department meetings and on-floor support.
• Conduct administrative duties such as scheduling and payroll.
• Provide accurate information to guests in a courteous manner; fulfill guest requests and anticipate needs.

• Minimum six months of food & beverage service experience.
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of service, cost control, labor controls, menu writing, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
• Valid Maui Liquor Card.
• Hawaii Food Handler’s Card.
• Serv Safe certification within 3 months.
• Tuberculosis clearance.

Full time. The hospitality business operates seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
