Job Overview
Assistant Mobile Workforce Specialist – DG Asset Data Applications Department, Geospatial & Asset Data Ops Division, Hawaiian Electric Company.
Number of Vacancies: 1.
Location: Hilo, Hawaii.
- Work Management Program Management:
Provide assistance to the Work Management and Mobility group, deliver consultative services for continuous improvement, engage mobile users for feedback, liaise with the Information Technology & Services Department, evaluate device application software and hardware, and assist with implementation of mobile application upgrades. - Mobile Device Training & Support:
Deliver hands‑on user training, create documentation, troubleshoot mobile application and device issues, provide after‑hours support, manage mobile device inventory, and maintain security user accounts. - Participate in Company emergency response activities as assigned and support incident command events.
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Management Information Systems or similar (preferred).
- 1–3 years experience in Work Management, mobile technologies, and data processing/programming.
- Knowledge of database management, security concepts, mobile technologies (SAP, GIS, Field Maps, Survey
123), enterprise systems, and ERP systems such as SAP. - Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Effective written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and conceptual skills for technical problem analysis and solution recommendation.
- Ability to train users on software applications and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be able to qualify for a State of Hawaii driver’s license and meet the company’s driving standards.
Hiring range: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00.
