Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Application Systems Analyst to join their robust team supporting Epic Willow. While the position is listed as a senior role, our client is open to considering candidates at varying experience levels and has compensation structures in place to support this flexibility.
This role is part of a well-established team that includes both onsite and remote employees. The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing support and optimization of EHR systems, with an emphasis on Willow billing and related workflows. Candidates with prior experience in resolving billing errors, managing price adjustments, and handling complex or non-standard Willow billing scenarios will be especially strong fits for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Expert-level support for complex, high-risk healthcare applications and systems in designated areas.
- Offer technical oversight and guidance, including the development of best practices and process improvements.
- Lead or contribute to strategic system planning efforts—both short- and long-term.
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure timely implementation of new systems or enhancements.
- Supervise and direct the work of assigned team members, offering mentorship and performance oversight.
- Ensure project and operational work meets defined timelines and standards of quality.
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in IT, specifically within application support or systems analysis.
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare IT systems, particularly EHR/EMR technologies.
- Strong ability to lead and deliver on moderately complex projects or initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- An additional four (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree, demonstrating the ability to independently design, test, and implement mid-to-complex systems.
- Must obtain and maintain relevant certifications in assigned applications, as defined by training requirements.
- Work authorization sponsorship is not available for this position.
- A background check will be required.
- Candidates with specialized experience in Willow billing workflows will be highly preferred.
