ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the design and maintenance of customer databases and be a primary database analyst for new projects and implementations. Conduct extensive troubleshooting, performance tuning, and analyze diagnostic reports such as AWR, ADDM, ASH, and STATSPACK. Model, map, integrate, and plan capacity for databases. Manage deadlines and emergencies, adapt to change, and work on several projects simultaneously.
Qualifications- Minimum 4 years of experience in Oracle database design and administration (11g, 12c a great asset)
- Experience with Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c & 19c
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and diagnostics skills (AWR, ADDM, ASH, STATSPACK)
- Data modelling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning experience
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and adaptation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Customer service orientation
- French an asset (French language skill)
- Postgre
SQL or MySQL - People Soft, E-Business Suite (EBS, Oracle Apps)
- Platforms:
Linux, AIX, MS Windows, Solaris - Experience with Oracle High Availability (RAC) and Data Guard
- Unix shell scripting and MS‑Windows shell scripting
