IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst

Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Service Now Project Manager. This is a full-time contract remote opportunity with benefits. The Service Now Project Manager will lead high-impact technology initiatives from concept through delivery, owning scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder engagement. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders to deliver large-scale Service Now transformation initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies, ensuring alignment with business goals and successful, on-time outcomes.
Responsibilities- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource plans in close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
- Manage project financials, including cost estimation, budget tracking, forecasting, and expense control.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies across multiple concurrent initiatives, adapting approach based on project complexity and team needs.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning responsibilities, tracking progress, and driving accountability to meet delivery commitments.
- Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and issues; develop mitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution.
- Establish clear communication plans and provide regular status updates, dashboards, and KPI-driven reporting to sponsors and leadership.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, technical requirements, and organizational governance expectations.
- Manage external vendors and partners, tracking contract performance and ensuring adherence to service-level agreements.
- Evaluate and manage change requests, conducting impact analysis and securing appropriate approvals.
- Develop and manage detailed release and deployment plans, coordinating closely with technical and business teams to ensure smooth rollouts.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews, finalize documentation, and ensure seamless transition of solutions to operations.
- Lead large-scale Service Now transformation initiatives within enterprise environments.
- Deliver and support multiple Service Now modules, with strong preference for experience implementing CMDB and CSM, and a solid understanding of CSDM and ITOM Discovery processes.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience leading and delivering complex technology projects.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience leading and implementing Service Now initiatives in large-scale enterprise environments.
