Business Systems Analyst

• 100% remote

Pay Rate: $64-66 per hour W2

Duration: 6+ months; extendable

M-F, 40 hours per week

• Collaborate with the application support team and business users to understand system workflows and processes.
• Review and enhance existing documentation; migrate and organize it within a new Confluence site.
• Ensure documentation is clear, comprehensive, and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Engage with business users to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for enhancement requests.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional and technical requirements.
• Use Jira and other tools to groom and manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, application support, and development teams.
• Participate in planning and review meetings to identify interdependencies and ensure alignment.
• Facilitate communication and understanding between technical and non-technical team members.
• Provide ongoing consultation and support to business users and application support teams.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software or content publishing environment
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with software development life cycles and agile methodologies
• Bachelor's degree required
