Required Qualifications
- BS + 2 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA with 4 years of experience.
- DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
- At least 2 years of relevant IT experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years of AWS/Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimization.
- Proven track record in managing production Windows Servers and implementing top-tier security practices within an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft operating platforms and office applications.
- This position demands a comprehensive understanding of government PAAS, SAAS coupled with advanced skills in analysis, troubleshooting, and system design. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is a critical component of this role.
- Demonstrated ability in performance optimization and system engineering processes
- Must be DoW 8140 under the Work Role Code 451 – System Administrator - Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 26.
Peraton requires Cloud Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. This position is located at Camp H.M. Smith, HI.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (Net Ops); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support;
provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
The Cloud Systems Administrator is a pivotal role within our IT infrastructure team, providing tier three systems support in line with the SIE OPORD.
Responsibilities- Manage and administer the AWS/Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security.
- Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
- Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions.
- Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions.
- Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss.
- Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized.
- Ensure all resources components meet proper performance and capacity standards.
- Innovate and implement new technologies to advance mission readiness.
