Farm Associate; Temporary Lanai , Lanai, Hawaii

This is a TEMPORARY ON-SITE position located in Lanai City, Lanai, Hawaii.

$17.00 / hour, Non-Exempt

Sensei Ag is hiring Farm Associates to manage activities that keep crops healthy, productive, and in good condition. They are also responsible for packing fruits and vegetables and performing other tasks that help the farm run smoothly.

• Maintain the health and condition of crops, including tasks like planting and transplanting seedlings, supporting vine crops, and removing shoots.
• Assist with harvesting, weighing, and packing produce, ensuring correct grading and packaging.
• Monitor for signs of insect or disease damage and food safety issues.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Regularly communicate with your Team Lead to report quality issues or damage.
• Ensure all actions comply with SOPs, occupational safety, GMPs, food safety, and company policies.
• Additional duties as needed by management.

• Experience in a light industrial environment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be comfortable with heights and using ladders.
• Ability to work in greenhouse environments with varying conditions (heat, UV exposure, or cold packing room).
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Compliance with food safety practices.
• Reliable transportation to work.

Bonus points if you have...

• Farming or greenhouse experience.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
