The Opportunity
Parker School seeks a collaborative, organized, and relationship-driven Advancement Programs Manager to support the school’s fundraising, alumni engagement, and community-building efforts. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, this position plays an important role in annual giving initiatives, donor stewardship, alumni relations, and special events.
As part of a dynamic three-person Advancement team, the Advancement Programs Manager will work closely with colleagues across a variety of initiatives and programs that strengthen community connection and philanthropic support for the school. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, managing projects, and contributing to a mission-driven and highly collaborative environment, with room to shape and grow the role while building a rewarding career in advancement.
PrimaryResponsibilities
Annual Giving Coordinator
- Plan and execute Parker School’s annual giving campaign in collaboration with the advancement team
- Prepare donor communication and solicitation materials
- Assist with donor stewardship and recognition efforts
- Implement strategies that encourage community participation and engagement
Events & Community Engagement
- Co‑lead Parker School’s signature annual fundraising event benefiting financial aid
- Coordinate and support donor, alumni, and community events throughout the year
- Represent Parker School warmly and professionally at school functions
- Operate at all times with integrity and confidentiality
Alumni Relations
- Build and steward an alumni program that strengthens long-term relationships with the school and other alumni, establishing consistent touchpoints, events, and communications practices.
- Develop and implement strategies for alumni engagement, giving, and volunteer involvement
- Maintain and grow the alumni database, ensuring accurate records and thoughtful outreach
- Create programming that reflects Parker School's 'ohana' spirit and builds alumni connections across generations
Advancement Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the advancement team to support department goals and initiatives
- Assist with special projects, communications, and office activities as needed
- Maintain strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through across multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in advancement, fundraising, nonprofit organizations, communications, events, education, or related fields preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team environment
- Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, and standard office software preferred
- Occasional evening and weekend work required for events and community engagement activities

- Salary Range: $60,000 to $72,000 depending on experience
